You can only have the plugin installed on one computer at a time and I transferred Vocal Rider for my PC to my Mac and had to pay an upgrade fee because it would only work on a older Mac OS. You are correct with what all you said about their products. I own Vocal Rider and Bass Rider as well as other waves plugins. I'd love to be one of the lucky ones without glitches with waves central.Д«ottom line, it's a good plugin but I wouldn't pay more than $29 for it. Waves makes it harder and more confusing than it has to be to register/download/activate products compared to other brands.ДЄnd for those who never have an issue - in the words of Brisco Darling -more power to ya. Some I paid too much for so I always wait for their best sales after being burned a few times on ones that I thought did not live up to the hype.

If I paid the yearly update fee it would cost a lot more in the long run for the few waves plugins I actually use regularly. I got it on sale for 29 bucks long time ago. Vocal Rider is a good volume automation plugin. I'll eventually get Vocal Rider back it's a hassle every time I get anything from Waves - free or paid it makes no difference. I'm gonna try Outlaw mentioned above for 15 bucks. My Vocal Rider is missing at the moment after being forced to dl the new version of waves central which takes forever to even load.
